Irrigation performance
Emitter flow, distribution uniformity, pressure, blockage, biofouling, scale and root intrusion.
Water + root zone
Reactive-species concentration, dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, EC, temperature and persistence.
Crop response
Emergence or growth, yield, quality, water-use efficiency and crop-specific commercial metrics.
Operating economics
Energy, maintenance, labor, treatment cost, avoided chemical logistics and scale economics.
