Most PFAS technologies do not eliminate the problem. They capture and concentrate it into spent media, membranes, brine or foam, creating another waste stream that still requires treatment or disposal. Plasmius takes a fundamentally different approach: a hydrodynamic cold-plasma platform designed to attack PFAS directly in continuous-flow water, without requiring a separate concentration step.
A direct path through contaminated water.
Plasmius is designed to reduce process stages, consumables, supporting equipment and secondary waste by treating PFAS directly in continuous-flow water.
>90% reduction of certain tested PFAS.
Observed at environmentally relevant ppb and ppt concentrations under defined test conditions. Results remain specific to the compounds, water matrix, operating configuration and analytical method tested.
A shorter path from contaminated water to destruction.
Lower operating burden.
A direct-treatment pathway can reduce dependence on sorbent media, membranes, regeneration, chemical dosing, storage and external process gases.
RESEARCH STATUS
PFAS performance remains application-specific and requires continued destruction analysis and fluorine mass-balance validation.
We don’t move PFAS. We’re building toward direct destruction.
